Last Annual Parade ends

Finally it was all over. I couldn't be pleased with the result this time, though I would like to have it ended high to close my Red Crescent career as a Youth.

It doesn't matter to me. It's passed and I have to accept it. That's no point looking back and finding all the faults to be blamed on others.

My sister and I arrived quite late at 0620. I gave my final words and said prayers for them. I knew deep inside my heart, they will try their best.

I had my trust on them, being so young, and so committed. It just like Arsenal FC, we have the young guns trying to compete with the big guys.

All got ready to perform.

Here comes the VIP.

We suffered several blows before the marching procession. The missing of flag poles gave an early shock. Then the discovery of someone who wore black socks, also alarmed the whole squad. Nevertheless, I believed this affected the squad morale.

Being arranged behind the big guys also affected us very much. I managed to give advice and comments about other teams before taking off. As soon we took off, we took the courage to just march the best we can. Somewhat or somehow, for me, it just so difficult to get adapted after 3 years without marching a a big squad.

And yes, we marched pass this....

THE TROPHIES!!!!

I am damn sure that everyone in our squad wanted to win it!! Right, Josephians?

And there goes the long speeches which no one was ever interested to listen. A couple of us got nearly fainted for standing too long.

Good thing is, I am privileged to receive the Certificate of Merit this morning. Little do this put little smiles on my lips.

Marched up front to receive the certificate.

And this is the cert. Pretty nice.

Strangely the winners from Youth Section are announced first. Chung Hua is 3rd. St. Co is 2nd. Champion went to Luar Bandar. And yes, we won NOTHING.

Seeing Luar Bandar team celebrating insanely for their maiden championship in Red Crescent made me little bit sad. Though I had my smiles, I was actually totally speechless.

In Chinese, it's like 无语问苍天.....

Anyway, we still have reasons to celebrate our nothingness. Everyone looked so relaxed, and went on celbrating Yaw Soon's birthday. Haha....

Notice that Kim How is in the picture. Duh, he cheated me yesterday that kononnya he is still at Perth. LOL.

But you see, everyone is still looking happy. Hopefully they can swallow in this defeat and try again next year.

But then, didn't I want to end my marching career on high?

Whatever it is, I know I have done my best for my Lord. Christ is always with me.

God bless you all!
